Long-running Malta-licensed brand, launched 2003, operated by Bayton Ltd as part of the Palace Group.

Two things determine whether it suits you, and neither is prominent in the operator’s own marketing: a weekly withdrawal cap shared with every other casino in the group, and a welcome bonus wagering requirement reported at around 70×.
The two terms that matter most
A weekly withdrawal cap shared across the whole group
The withdrawal cap

This is the fourth Palace Group brand reviewed on this site to carry the same term. Spin Casino, All Slots and Lucky Nugget all share it, and the deposits are counted across all of them together.
If you hold accounts at more than one, you should read that as a single relationship with a single cap rather than several independent casinos.
The operator and the numbers
What NZD support does, and what it does not
NZD support is sold on a simple promise: “no exchange rates, no hidden fees, just NZD in and NZD out.” The first half of that is broadly right. The rest needs qualifying.
Bonus figures and wagering targets in units you can judge
A balance you can read without doing sums
Local payment routes are more likely to work
Any protection from withdrawal caps
A New Zealand licence, or New Zealand oversight
Any recourse if the operator does not pay

The facts that do check out
The verifiable details, for the record.
The licence number is MGA/B2C/145/2007, publicly verifiable and held by Bayton Ltd. The 2003 launch date holds up. The operator name is accurate, including the separate entity that contracts with Canadian players. Microgaming content now reaches the lobby through Games Global, a detail most sites still get wrong. And US players are not accepted.
None of that is in dispute. The terms built on top of it are where the trouble starts.
The five terms that decide the outcome
The withdrawal cap. €4,000 per week where a withdrawal is 5× or more your deposits, counted across all Palace Group casinos.
The wagering requirement. Reported at around 70× the combined deposit and bonus, and rarely stated up front.
The minimum withdrawal. Reported at $50, which is high.
The audited return figure. eCOGRA is cited constantly as a fairness signal; its 2025 reported return-to-player of 93.89% far less often.
The complaint pattern. Account suspensions during verification, particularly after a withdrawal request, are a recurring theme across this brand and its sisters.
Taken together, those five decide whether a win here reaches your bank. None of them appears anywhere near the welcome offer.
The Android app

Ruby Fortune circulates an Android APK for side-loading.
Installing gambling apps from outside the Play Store means switching off Android’s protection against unvetted software, on a device you use for banking. Google restricts real-money gambling apps to countries with licensing regimes it recognises, and New Zealand has none yet — the absence is the regulatory position, not a gap to work around.
Use the mobile site. It runs the same lobby and the same cashier, and nothing gets installed. Our Android casinos guide covers this in full.
If you are considering this operator
Complete verification when you register. Identity, address and payment method. The documented complaint pattern is verification triggered by a withdrawal request, and doing it early removes that entirely.
Read the bonus terms before opting in, specifically the wagering multiple, what it applies to, game weighting, any maximum bet during wagering, and the expiry. At 70× on deposit plus bonus, a NZ$100 deposit with a matched bonus implies turnover in the region of NZ$14,000.
Understand the cap before you win, not after. A large win is released weekly, and the remainder sits in your account as a playable balance in the meantime.
Withdraw to the method you deposited with where possible, and make sure the account name matches your verified profile.
Our casino deposit methods page covers the payment routes that work from New Zealand, and our fast payout casinos page explains where withdrawal delays actually originate.
Where New Zealand’s rules are going
No online casino currently holds a New Zealand licence. From 1 December 2026, operators that have not applied must stop serving New Zealanders, and licensed operators are expected from early 2027 with a Department of Internal Affairs register.
Licensed operators will face a bonus cap of NZ$100 or 200% of the deposit, mandatory deposit and session limits, age verification at 18, self-exclusion effective within 24 hours, and a prohibition on credit card and buy-now-pay-later deposits.
If you hold a balance with an operator that may not obtain a licence, withdrawing before December is more straightforward than after — particularly where a weekly cap means a large balance takes weeks to release. Our New Zealand gambling laws guide sets out the timeline.
Three claims worth correcting
| Method | The usual claim | Correction |
|---|---|---|
| Skrill / Neteller | “Converts to EUR/USD” | Both support New Zealand dollar accounts. Conversion applies only where the wallet currency and the casino currency differ — which is true of every method, not these two specifically. |
| POLi | “1–3 days” withdrawal time | POLi does not process withdrawals. It is a deposit method only. Any figure in a withdrawal column for it is meaningless, and you will need a separate payout route. |
| MuchBetter | “Supports NZD”, 1–6 hours | New Zealand availability could not be independently confirmed. The provider publishes no supported-country list. Attempt registration before relying on it. |
| Crypto | “Not in NZD” | Correct. Worth adding that cryptoassets are treated as property by Inland Revenue, so disposing of them can be a taxable event separate from any gambling win. |
This page is published for information. It is not financial, legal or gambling advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to gamble or an endorsement of any operator.
You must be 18 or older to gamble online in New Zealand.
No link on this page goes to an operator’s cashier, and none will. Reach any casino by typing the address yourself.
Player accounts described here are individual reports rather than findings. Licensing, ownership, bonus terms, withdrawal limits and country availability all change, sometimes within weeks, and this page covers a period in which the New Zealand market is being restructured. Confirm the current position in the operator’s own terms and on the regulator’s own register before acting on anything here.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who operates Ruby Fortune?
Bayton Ltd (C41970), registered in Ta’ Xbiex, Malta, under Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2C/145/2007 issued 1 August 2018. A separate entity contracts with Canadian players. It is part of the Palace Group.
Is there a withdrawal limit?
Yes. Independent databases record €4,000 per week where a withdrawal is 5× or more your total deposits — counted across all Palace Group casinos, not just this one. Progressive jackpot wins are exempt.
What happens to winnings above the cap?
They stay in your casino account and are released in weekly instalments. In the meantime the balance remains available to bet.
Does holding accounts at sister casinos give me separate limits?
No. Deposits are aggregated across the group, so multiple accounts share one cap. Sister brands include Spin Casino, Jackpot City, All Slots and Spin Palace.
What is the wagering requirement on the welcome bonus?
Reported at around 70× the combined deposit and bonus. On a NZ$100 deposit with a matched bonus, that implies turnover in the region of NZ$14,000. Confirm the current figure in the operator’s own terms before opting in.
Is it licensed and audited?
Yes — MGA licensed and eCOGRA tested, with eCOGRA also providing dispute resolution. eCOGRA’s 2025 reporting put the return to player at 93.89%.
Should I install the Android app?
No. It requires side-loading an APK, which means disabling Android’s protection against unvetted software. Use the mobile site instead.
Where can I get help if gambling is causing problems?
The Gambling Helpline is free and available 24 hours a day on 0800 654 655, or by free text to 8006. PGF Services offers free counselling on 0800 664 262.
